Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize

I don’t want to be one to overly critical of Obama, but what has he actually done to deserve the prize? As far as i can tell, this is merely an attempt to raise the expectations of what he has to deliver in his first term.

In a way, it reminds me of the scene in Spanglish where the main character, a chef, gets his restaurant reviewed by a very famous reviewer from the New York Times. The reviewer loved the restaurant and added another star to his restraint and the chef was extremely angry about it. He complained that the reviewer screwed him and his life was over and so on because he knew that his little restraint would become the ‘in’ and trendy place to eat. I would imagine that is how Obama is feeling about now.
